Our group
MRF, the French brassware manufacturers
The MRF group gathers Cristal&Bronze, Margot, Serdaneli and Miroir Brot, four bathroom fittings, accessories and hardware manufacturers. These brands produce their products in the purest form of French “savoir-faire”.
The excellence of brass and finishes
Brass lies at the heart of the MRF group’s expertise. This noble raw material, worked by its craftsmen, now takes on a wide range of finishes common to all its brands. Whether for taps, bathroom accessories, mirrors or door handles, each creation benefits from this chromatic richness.
A unifying mission
MRF crafts its creations with precision and passion, upholding artisanal traditions and the highest standards of quality. Each piece embodies elegant attention to detail and French excellence.
Made in France
The MRF group’s brands have been manufacturing in France for 200 years. The workshops in Abbeville and Château-Landon bring together all the expertise required to manufacture their products, from design to production. Thanks to this rare and exceptional craftsmanship, these companies have been awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) label by the French Government.
Our brands
Complementary brands united by their commitment to preserving their craftsmanship.
Cristal&Bronze
Cristal&Bronze is a French manufacturer of bathroom fittings and accessories founded in 1937 in Paris.
Each brass piece is handmade by skilful craftsmen who were trained in traditional metalworking techniques. Their extensive know-how can be seen through the quality of their products and especially through their perfect finishes, from gilding to patinas.
Margot
Founded in 1912, Margot benefits from more than a century of experience in the design and production of faucets.
Drawing on an all-French savoir-faire, Margot manufactures high-quality fittings, marrying robustness and simplicity.
From Art Deco to today’s styles, the history of architecture has guided the creation of each collection.
Serdaneli
In typical “haute couture” fashion, Serdaneli has been making bespoke faucets and hardware, drawing on France’s finest craftsmanship since 1975.
Using fine stones, mother-of-pearl, crystal, marble, porcelain… Serdaneli shapes its collections around the range of possibilities afforded by its materials library, built up with the invaluable help of some of the foremost experts in their craft.
Miroir Brot
In 1826, François Brot, a mirror maker at the court of King Charles X, founded Maison Miroir Brot. Today, its collections continue to embody the spirit of the brand thanks to their distinctive style and craftsmanship.
Miroir Brot mirrors are entirely made of brass in France, offering unparalleled quality and exceptional durability. Available in a range of nearly 30 metal finishes, these mirrors have become global references in the beauty and decoration industry.
Our craftsmanship
With 200 years of expertise in brasswork, the MRF group carries out every stage of production in its French workshops.
Machining
Each piece is machined in our workshops from solid brass, with a precision that ensures accurate assembly.
Silver brazing
The components are joined using silver brazing, a soldering technique that ensures strong joints and preserves the integrity of the metal.
Polishing
Polishing is carried out entirely by hand by our craftsmen, an essential step in achieving the mirror finish required to ensure the finishes remain in good condition over time.
Surface treatment
Our parts are finished – chrome, nickel, patinas – using processes mastered in-house, with a palette of over 30 colours.
Assembly
All our products are assembled by hand in our workshops, allowing for precise control at every stage and adaptation to the specifications of each order.
Quality control
Each piece is inspected individually before dispatch: checking for watertightness, finish quality, the proper functioning of mechanisms.
Our references
By virtue of its stylistic versatility and superior French craftsmanship, the MRF group routinely partners with architects and decorators in prestigious hotel and residential projects.
